Image Guided Radiation Therapy, also referred to as IGRT, is used to treat tumors in moving organs such as the lungs, prostate, pancreas, and gynecologic tumors as well.

IGRT involves treatment guided by imaging, such as CT, ultrasound or X-ray, taken just before the radiation is delivered.

After the image acquisition adjustments are made to lock on to the tumor, the treatment is delivered to the targeted area with precision.
